This launch represents the distillery’s oldest and most advanced creation to this point, marking a major milestone of their progressive method to whisky making.
Inspiration and Crafting Course of
Impressed by the strategies of Bordeaux châteaux and Champagne Grande Marques, The Waterford – Cuvée Koffi is crafted by mixing 24 distinct Irish Single Farm Origins. Every farm’s barley, grown on particular person terroirs within the south-east of Eire, contributes to a whisky that’s free from synthetic colouring, components, and chill-filtration. Tasting Notes
- Look: Amber gold with thick oils that descend the glass slowly.
- Nostril: A novel mix of crimson apple on do-it-yourself brown bread, three-peel marmalade, white pepper, combined dry herbs, cola cubes, sherbet sweets, and light-weight lavender in recent soil.
