Royal Caribbean’s latest cruise ship, Star of the Seas, departed on its maiden voyage at this time, a four-night cruise to The Bahamas from Port Canaveral.
A free “Social gathering within the Park” was organized by the port to ship off the world’s largest cruise ship in model.

When the ship returns to Port Canaveral, it will likely be christened on August 20 throughout an invitation-only ceremony onboard the vessel.
After a handful of quick preview cruises, Star of the Seas will start crusing week-long cruises to the Japanese and Western Caribbean from Port Canaveral.
