This week, Ritz-Carlton Yacht Assortment celebrated the christening of the most recent vessel of their fleet, Luminara.
Luminara is the third yacht in Ritz-Carlton’s fleet and the ship was christened by actress Simone Ashley in Barcelona.
Consistent with maritime custom, Ashley shared a dedication for the cruises forward, then led a toast that signaled the ceremonial breaking of a bottle of Champagne throughout the mast because the yacht’s horn sounded, marking the start of Luminara’s journey.
As godmother, Ashley embodies the position of symbolic guardian, bestowing luck and protected passage for the yacht and all who sail aboard.
Simone Ashley gave the next assertion in regards to the event:

Luminara can accommodate as much as 452 visitors in 226 suites, together with the brand new Residential Suites.
Luminara will sail its maiden voyage on July 3, 2025, a seven-night cruise from Monte Carlo to Rome.
After a season of crusing within the Mediterranean, the ship will sail by means of Africa and the Indian Ocean earlier than starting its inaugural season within the Asia-Pacific area in December 2025, adopted by the cruise line’s first voyages to Alaska and Canada in summer time 2026.
