Because the cruise line celebrates its One hundred and fiftieth Anniversary, Holland America Line has launched a limited-edition Pilsner beer, HAL Pils, made in partnership with Pike Brewing.
HAL Pils will probably be served fleet-wide, produced by the Seattle-based brewing firm to honor the placement of the cruise line’s U.S. headquarters and Seattle’s hometown cruise line.

In celebration of Holland America Line’s One hundred and fiftieth Anniversary, the cruise line has partnered with a Seattle-based brewing firm, Pike Brewing, to create a limited-edition Pilsner beer, HAL Pils.
This new Pilsner beer will probably be served in all onboard bars and lounges fleetwide beginning in January 2023 and was chosen for its basic European fashion and recognition as a specialty for cruise visitors.
The Vice President of Eating and Beverage Operations for Holland America Line, Anothony Stice mentioned, “A special-edition brew in a wonderful collector’s can is the right strategy to mark our One hundred and fiftieth anniversary.”
“There’s no higher strategy to honor our previous and have a good time our current than to decide on a basic beer fashion like a Pilsner that’s having a resurgence within the craft beer world. It’s clear, refreshing, and crisp and our visitors are actually going to get pleasure from this unique manufacturing,” Stice added.
The Seattle-based brewing firm was chosen as a tribute to the placement of the cruise line’s U.S. headquarters and to mark Holland America Line’s place as Seattle’s hometown cruise line.
HAL Pils was created with Mosaic Hops, an iconic hop from the Yakima Valley in Washington state, yielding floral and lightweight melon flavors, with a giant aroma and dry end.
Holland America Line’s One hundred and fiftieth Anniversary pilsner will probably be served in a commemorative can that mimics the funnels of the Holland America Line steamship above the emblem’s head, with the long-lasting Jan van Beers poster of 1898 of a lady in a blue costume and striped hat.
The beer’s label encompasses a twist on the road’s basic emblem with an up to date colour scheme and will probably be obtainable for visitors to buy as a six-pack within the shipboard retailers.
