A Journey Half a Century within the Making

The journey of this whisky started on September 21, 1966, when Bourbon cask 2383 was first full of unpeated Benriach spirit. Handpicked for its beautiful character, this cask was destined to turn out to be the oldest remaining classic and rarest instance of Benriach. After many years of maturation in Benriach’s Speyside warehouses, it has emerged as the primary Benriach to be bottled at fifty years previous.

A Presentation of Magnificence and Craftsmanship

The Benriach 1966 Cask Aged 50 Years is housed in a bespoke crystal decanter, crafted in Scotland by Glasstorm. Every decanter is introduced in a custom-made field by grasp craftsman John Galvin. The design of the presentation field is impressed by the colorful array of eclectic casks that fill Benriach’s warehouses, the place this expression has been nurtured for the final half-century.
