The nostril is fruity and nutty with a pleasant, sherried elevate; the palate brings roasted nuts, sultanas and a balancing thread of salt and sweetness. Superbly composed and eminently drinkable. Restricted to 350 bottles.
Ben Nevis 27 Yr Outdated – Highland Single Malt

The headline launch of the gathering and the rarest. Distilled at Ben Nevis Distillery in Fort William in December 1998, the month Scotland final appeared at a World Cup, this single cask has matured via refill and refill PX hogsheads earlier than being disgorged in March 2026.
